– Card Trade is for adults 18 and older only.

4. Identity Verification & Biometric Information

– To protect The Hobby, Card Trade uses service providers to verify identity through government ID scans, live selfies, and mobile network checks.
– Biometric identifiers or templates may be generated solely for verification.
– This data is retained for fraud prevention, duplicate account prevention, and compliance purposes, and securely stored with encryption.
– If your account is permanently closed, biometric and ID data will be deleted after a defined retention period necessary for fraud prevention and legal requirements.

– Verify identity and prevent duplicate or fraudulent accounts.
– Mediate disputes and enforce platform rules.
